Help with a difficult guest who messed up my place

Hello am new to the community and this is my first post. I have just met a difficult guest who messed up my place, clogged the toilet and refused to get out 4 hrs after check out. I am here to cry, don’t know what to do but come to the arms of fellow hosts. Sad that most people are leaving..

Hey @Pamela1024 , that is absolutely awful for you. Are you not able to maybe open a dispute with airbnb to get money back for any damages?

Unfortunately, these things happen. You should be able to get reimbursed.
Open a case with Airbnb now.

Get things repaired and keep receipts.

Take photos.

Communicate with guest and write everything down. 
There is no reason why you shouldn’t get your money back. 
I know how distressing this can be, but don’t lose faith. X
