Hi first time host looking for advice

I've just received a request for a booking (my first) for 2 for 2.5 weeks, the concern I have is the requestor joined AirB&B in 2020 but so far has no trips, and this seems a bit odd.

Their address and phone number have been verified, however.

Am I worrying about nothing or should I be cautious?

Any assistance is much appreciated, Steve.

you are new to Airbnb so the guest is taking a risk in booking with you 😀 particularly as you haven't uploaded a photo or host profile .

lots of people join Airbnb for years before they book

why not ask vetting questions to understand if the guest is a good fit ?

Good point and of course COVID may have prevented people traveling, I shall also upload my pic, had not thought of that 😊

I was going to mention that covid may have prevented this guest from traveling; also they may have traveled with a friend or family member on their account. 

As this is a request you have the opportunity to visit with them before accepting the reservation, ask whatever questions you need to make you feel comfortable.
