Host cancelled within 30 days of check in

Host cancelled within 30 days of check in date. Our Check in was on Oct 30 and Host cancelled reservation on Sep 30. The payment was refunded, but AIRBNB is refusing to cover for the difference in amount of the next booking we have to do for those dates. As per aircover , all guests are covered if a host cancels within 30 days of checkin. AIrbnb support is worse and I donno how I can get some help

@Soumen2 sadly you have fallen foul of Airbnb's marketing vs reality. Similar issues exist on the host side but for guests the Aircover offering basically says they will find you new accommodation OR refund your money. Generally they do the latter and often don't even attempt the former.

It is critical when booking an Airbnb to read all its reviews and try to fins a trustworthy host.
