Hosting help with cleaning

Hello our place is in a very remote area and cleaners are not willing to stay on and do the job we can only charge $75 for the cleaning fee & $115 for the night we can not afford to pay anymore than we do and the only cleaning company who services the area wants to charge $220 per clean.   So I am wondering how do other hosts handle this situation do you waiver the cleaning fee and asks the guests to clean the place? We also provide the linen maybe we should stop this practice and ask them to bring there own and clean the place themselves.  Can we add the option of linen and cleaning provided but for a higher fee if needed?  Thank you in advance for your help with this.

@Alex6406  There is absolutely no way you should expect or trust your guests to clean the place to a standard that would be acceptable to the next guest coming to stay. That would just be inviting low cleanliness ratings and bad reviews. And not charging a cleaning fee won't solve that.

I'm assuming you live far from the listing, so can't do the cleaning yourselves. When you say it's very remote, that means there are no other full-time residents in the area? If there are, you might look for someone who would like the job who lives nearby, rather than a professional cleaning service. Perhaps an active, retired senior, or a responsible high school student trying to finance their college tuition, or a stay-at-home mom.

Thank you for your suggestion yes I do live a a few hours away and I have in fact been through 3 neighbours in the area to clean the house.  One started stealing from me and not cleaning it properly, another did it twice and not very well and opted out said it was too much for her.  It only takes about 2 hours to clean but if left particularly messy it can take 3 hours, but this doesn't happen often.  A third neighbour who was very good has had to stop now due to illness.  I agree with you leaving to the guests is not a good option but I am running out of neighbours and ideas.  Maybe bringing there own linen will help so no beds need to be made by anyone. But in this case would I have to lower the cleaning fee or can it remain the same?  If I could offer the $75 with no bed making I may be able to attract someone who won't mind the 1/2 hour travel time from one of the nearest towns.  Or can you supply the linen but they have too make the beds themselves when they arrive?
