Now, I got some guest who will land at 5AM and they want early check in. So, I charge them one third of daily rental cost for early check in. But, from my side, I have to block one day before their check-in date. So, let say if they book 3 days, I have to block 4 days in my calender. Is that sustainable Idea or can I just say "NO, you can't do early check-in" to the guest? I am afraid I will loose the guest as well.

If a guest is not going to book your property because you can't let them enter 8 hours before your nominated check-in time on the day of the stay, then, trust me, you don't need them as guests, they will be nothing but trouble.
Even if you don't have guests the previous night, they still use power and other facilities and that needs to be covered.
I explain to them that Airbnb is not like a hotel, we don't have empty rooms to spare. If there is a guest staying the night before their stay, an early check-in is not possible. I am not going to block a night before their stay simply because some guest wants to bend my hosting rules!
We all get guests who want to check-in early. If guests are arriving during the morning of the start of their stay I will allow them to do a bag drop and discover the area for a few hours but I do not grant them access into the listing until previous guests have left and the listing has been fully serviced. And that is generally not possible before 12.30pm. I make this very clear to them well before the start of their stay so they can't just arrive and expect an early check-in.
If they are not ok with that then I suggest my listing might not be a good fit for them and suggest they try another booking elsewhere.
Cheers.........Rob
@Kyaw-Soe0 it depends how busy you are. If you could sell the night then say no or charge a lot more. If you can't then say yes and sell cheap. Alternatively say you will allow early check in free of charge IF no one books the night before.
well... that is the chicken and egg problem i guess. since they plan in advance I will not know whether new customer will book the available slot or not. but one thing foe sure they ask for early check in is they know that morning is still available and other have not been taken yet.
It doesn't matter whether you have guests booked now, you may get guests nearer the time or have your cleaners in to prep the property so it won't be available for a massively early check in.. @Kyaw-Soe0
It's the guests choice if they want to guarantee the space will be available they need to book the night before. Or if not, they can check in at your ordinary check in times.
Do you think if you booked a hotel room they would allow you to check in at 5.00 a.m. if there normal check in time was 3 pm?
If someone wants to check in at 5am in the morning you should just advise them to book the night before so the place will be available for them when they arrive @Kyaw-Soe0
I am afriad they will not book my place if i say so. 😊

Thank you for the answer. For my case, I am not able to keep their luggage as well since I will not be there and I only get that room in that condo. Some guest also asked me whether they can leave the luggage or not. I sadly say no to them.
