There doesn't seem to be an option to filter for hosts who are willing to host guests for longer term arrangements and possibly offer discounts for longer stays.

To find hosts willing and able to do long term stays just put your required dates into search. Discounts are arguably irrelevant as you can filter by price leaving only the cheapest listings. It doesn't matter if a listing is cheap after a discount or just because the base price is cheap unless you are the type of person who believes discount=value as the marketing folks love you to believe.

Personally I'd never book a long stay through a platform like Airbnb as you'll pay a high guest commission and have no tenancy rights @Na30
However if you want to do this simply enter your dates and available Airbnb's will come up. Discounted rates for longer stays are included in the pricing you see .
@Helen3 As a longtime Bay Area host, I (almost) learned the hard way that long-term rentals are not guaranteed by Airbnb. That is, if you secure a two-month reservation and go away on vacation, Airbnb doesn’t collect the second month’s rent fee. If they cannot collect it at the start of the second month, Airbnb will not accept liability to pay the rental fee. They treat month two as a separate reservation!
Here’s a letter I received from Airbnb when the second month’s payment failed:
“If your guest successfully submits payment, we'll send you a confirmation email right away. If you have questions about the payment problem, you can reach out to your guest.
If your guest doesn't successfully submit payment or if they cancel the reservation before making the payment, Airbnb isn't liable for issuing your host payout. If you prefer to cancel the reservation, you can cancel without penalty at any time before the trip begins. If the reservation has started and you'd like to cancel, please send us a note.
We appreciate your understanding.
Thanks,

I think what the OP is looking for is to stay in a certain area for more than 30 days, and her dates are flexible. Correct me if I’m wrong @Na30.
I know Airbnb may come out with more long stay functionality in the future, but I don’t know if flexible long stay searches will be included.
Thanks, all. Appreciate all the good tips.
