How to change the language of the receipt

Hello everyone,

 

I have tried countless methods, but the receipts generated by Airbnb are always in Chinese. Customer service told me that once a receipt is generated, the language cannot be changed anymore. This is ridiculous.

 

I modified my global settings as instructed, but no matter whether I set it to German or English, all my new bills are still in Chinese. Could you please tell me how to change the language of the bills?

Found a way to change the language for a trip receipt. Just tried it on my own account. You use the "Get a PDF for Visa Purposes" feature (which is just a receipt) on the reservation details and you can change the language of the receipt:

 

  1. Go to your Trips Tab
  2. Scroll down to Find Past Trips in Your Profile
  3. Tap the Photo of the Trip (Twice)
  4. Reservation Details Appear
  5. Scroll Down to Get a PDF for Visa Purposes
  6. Enter Your Name
  7. Change the Preferred Language to whatever you want
  8. Print Receipt 

You can also see the Reservation Detail in your messages to the Host.

You would have to provide feedback directly to Airbnb on this as only they can change it.

Perhaps one of the moderators can forward this to the appropriate team at Airbnb since this issue has been mentioned several times by guests.
