Impossible to add notes to my calendar

With this new release, I can't add notes to my calendar. 

I need to be able to add notes to any dates of my calendar (on reserved dates with Airbnb or with another application, on blocked dates, on open dates). And I need to see and modify notes in the past or in future dates.

Yes, that feature seemed to have disappeared. A useful tool when managing multiply calendar.

I just spoke to an Airbnb agent (May 22, 2025), and she explained how I can add notes.

1. While you are in the Hosting mode, click on the 3 line hamberger on the right, and select "Account Settings"

> then select, "Professional Hosting Tools" at the bottom of the column on the left

> then, beside "Company", select "Manage"

> then click, "Professional Hosting Tools"

2. Now, look at the above menu and click "Host" and select "Calendar" from the drop-down menu.

3. You will see a new version of your calendar. Don't click out of it as this is the location where you would add your notes. Click on the date, or range of dates you want to add a note to, then a pop-up box comes up. At the bottom you will see where you can add your Private Note.

So they deprecated adding notes from the per-listing calendar, and call it a "new feature" that we now have to do it from the multi-calendar interface?  Booooooo.

which means we can't use our app on the phone to do it.   What a crappy "New Feature"!

You can edit the note only on the multicalendar. It is viewable on the regular calendar though.

This does work, but the single line calendar is strange.

No, it doesn't happen.  The calendar opens as usual, with black boxes on the side instead of white (as until now) and without option of adding notes.

You do need to turn on Professional Hosting Tools in order to see the multicalendar and add Notes.

Gosh this is the most fiddly way and now my calendar looks horrible, not sure how to get it back in the normal format! Why did Airbnb change this note option, do they not consult with actual hosts before they make weird changes?

ANOTHER RETROGRADE STEP BACKWARDS!!

Everytime Airbnb announce new features I get VERY nervous! Their IT staff seem to continually and incompetently downgrade what once was a user friendly and productive calendar with an informative Notes feature into a useless piece of software! Why don't they talk to their customers to get feedback before embarking on an "upgrade"!! I'm just about ready to give up on these guys! 🤬
