Is it worth it to list your property on multiple platforms?

I’ve always exclusively used Airbnb for hosting and have had great success with it. Recently, a friend encouraged me to explore other platforms like VRBO. I created a profile on VRBO, but I found the platform isn’t as user-friendly as Airbnb. It can be quite confusing with separate mobile apps for travelers and hosts. Ultimately, I didn’t stick around long before deleting my VRBO profile. Has anyone else had a similar experience?

@Cindy1674 we tried this several times with little success. As soon as you take bookings elsewhere your search position may well suffer on Airbnb. Luckily for us we didn't rely on our Airbnb income so we didn't need to de-risk by listing elsewhere.
