Is this a legit post & host

this is one of my first times using air bnb and the property i have contacted about seems to be only newly listed and has no reviews. How can I make sure it is legit?

Hello @Kerri311, of course you can find new listings on Airbnb that don't have any reviews yet.

First of all, you should feel protected because your payment is protected and Airbnb will only send the payment to the host 24 hours after check-in.

In case something goes wrong (for example, you can't contact the host, you can't get into the property, or the property doesn't match the photos and description), you should contact Airbnb support immediately and the reservation will be cancelled with a full refund, and a specialist will help you find and book another property.

What I can recommend you is to contact the host before booking using the "Message Host" form that you will find in each listing and ask all the questions you are interested in.

If your communication with the host goes well, if the host responds quickly and provides all the quality information - this is a good sign.
