I had made a reservation with airbnb in newyork for three nights. I had made the reservations two weeks in advance. On the penultimate day Airbnb sent me a mail saying that the reservation was cancelled by the host. The mail didnt provide any reason. When i contacted the host they are saying that they didnt cancel and airbnb cancelled.
Keeping aside the reason for the cancellation, which itself appears sketchy, shouldnt airbnb try to help me find another place. There are very few places that meet my criteria (atleast 3 bedrooms and 2 baths) and those that are available are heavily priced.
does airbnb not have any stake in this ? I have been messaging them constantly but I don’t get the quick response from them. I tried calling customer support as well but they try to end the call and say that we will continue in chat. And no one responds on the chat.
