Listing is not showing, Business is slow

Cannot find my listing for my area in a search. Business/rental has been slow for bookings. What can I do to boost my bookings?

I am having the same problem about 3 weeks now.  Good rating Guest Favorite and like yours if I request vacant dates the Airbnb Platform prompts Rare Find.  I have about silence not even a question?  I keep trying Airbnb Custom discounts, Views are recorded but no conversions.  I have tweaked my ad description a few times.  I don't know if related for me I think timing related to software change, but I don't know?

@Kimberly1369

I did a guest search for Pueblo with dates and your listing appeared in the number 1 position on page one!  Pretty good 😊

As @Marie8425 states, have you checked your performance information and how many views you are getting vs conversions? This will tell you if guests are viewing the listing but deciding not to book.

I do have some suggestions for improving the listing if you are interested.

This was a new discount I set up yesterday.

A current Guest in my other room extended fo June on Airbnb, no problems.

let me know if it helps.

The thing that stands out to me is Guest Favorite Rare Find both same as mine I usually have a waiting list.    I list my den with bunk beds because I usually have so high demand that regulars said post it as a room if my work stats but you know another's contract ends in a few weeks. So, though every listing could improv, I am not convinced that creates sudden dead air?

Another confusing thought how still Guest Favorite today on 5/31?

Last check out 5/15.

No activity with me  since at least 5/15.

It all depends on what criteria Airbnb uses for recency of reviews...they don't really tell us that in regards to GF.

@Joan2709

True just I have seen the posts from Hosts describing positive activity and not getting the badge.  I thought that other's explained that the Guest Favorite Tag unlike Superhost tag was measured daily and changed frequently?  Maybe I understood wrong?

@Marie8425

All Airbnb says (that I am aware of) is the the GF badge is evaluated daily. They don't disclose all the criteria. Many Hosts assumed it had to do with recency of bookings, but Airbnb had never said that as far as I know.

I do know that it is critical to ensure your first 5 reviews are 5stars in ALL categories. I have worked with some hosts that had a new listing and got the GF badge, but not all 5stars in all the categories. They have not been able to achieve gold status, despite numerous additional 5-star reviews.

@Joan2709

I am not sure either.  I really haven't paid attention to it until now.  The first review for this particular listing is 3/2024, so not new.  If no activity for two weeks and Guest Favorite Badge daily assignment, I don't understand?  I must of triggered something, I can't figure what?

@Joan2709

The Rare Find prompt from the Airbnb Platform when you check dates.  I don't know the specifics on when that is assigned.  I do know from reviewing many listings that doesn't always pop up.  It is usually a good sign that the listing is getting traffic.  Traffic but not even a question?

@Joan2709

What is gold status?

Is that the top 10%, top 5%, top 1% of listings?

@Lorina14

Yes...

Now that I'm reading through this again, I think I know why the Host didn't get gold status yet. She had cancellations on a different listing and perhaps that is preventing the gold status? It shouldn't since the cancellations were on another listing, but who knows?
