Locked out of app since new Ios update

Hello,

 

I have contacted airbnb support multiple times, so I am trying once more to resolve my issue. I went to update my airbnb app recently and found out that I could no longer update it because my phone does not support the latest ios. 

 

I cannot access my account with an email address, because I no longer know what the email address is. I also cannot access it with my phone number because apparently there are other accounts using this number.

 

I have an upcoming reservation that I need to cancel. The host and airbnb have not been able to resolve this.

 

I am very unsatisfied and am looking for a resolution.

@Amanda3410 Try logging in from a browser on desktop, sometimes that bypasses the iOS issue. For the account problem, ask Airbnb support to verify you via ID and merge or remove duplicate accounts linked to your number. Also for the upcoming reservation, ask the host to cancel from their side or request Airbnb to cancel it manually once they verify you they can do that.

 

Hi, thanks for your response. The host is being uncooperative and airbnb will not allow any access to my account since I do not have the email (ID verification apparently not possible). Desktop log in also not possible as I no longer know the email used.
