Whenever I try to log in on my Macbook in safari (newest OSX, last years model laptop), the log-in with google window pops ups for like a nano second, just so I see it would be there and then disappears. I checked: it is not still open and hidden behind the open window. Pop-ups for Airbnb are allowed. I restarted with parameter ram cached. I deleted all the cookies.
here on this site I can login, but on the airbnb site itself I just cant! this bug is going since last year now and it really is a major pain in the A***: Anybody else has the same problem?

I'm sorry about the inconvenience. Have you tried logging in from the app or a different browser? If you're comfortable, would you mind sharing a screenshot of the error you're seeing?

@Elisa I have exactly the same problem of being unable to log in. A login window (who the hell uses pop-up windows in 2025??!!!) pops up for a fraction of a second and disappears. Fix it, please.

I use a Mac too and to be honest I can log in with Safari without a problem on Airbnb as a host. When I'm on the community center however, I avoid using Safari as some of the functions don't work so use Chrome instead. Worth giving it a try to see if the problem is resolved by logging in via Chrome instead?

saying to use another browser is not helping. I am trying to report an airbnb bug, not use a browser I never use just for one website
I had the same frustrating problem; I could log into the app and have been able to log in with Safari on my iPhone, but I am not going to type a review on a phone keyboard. After trying many things, I finally had to log in via the Chrome browser. I still can't get in using Safari, even when I'm logged in on the app and in Chrome. I hope this gets fixed soon. Good luck!

also having the same problem, I can login in the app or on the MAC but not on the iPad! This is very frustrating.

Since the update in May 2025 there has been a lot of updates to the App and the website to fix bugs.
The only think I can suggest is:
logoff Airbnb on ALL devices (phone, tablet, computer)
Delete the App on your phone and reinstall it
Clear cache on computer
Login on ONE device only using your email address (not phone number or other methods)
