We share our house with clients, we all need to wear mask during the staying?
The general public health guidelines are: 1) wash your hands with soap and water frequently, or if unavailable, use hand sanitizer ; 2) social distance at least six feet/two meters; 3) wear a facial mask when in an enclosed area, or when social distancing cannot be maintained.
Ask yourself: 1) will I be in closed quarters with the guests? if yes, you everyone needs a mask; 2) does our space have a ventilation system that will filter the indoor air? if no, everyone needs a mask; 3) will I be able to disinfect all items that we share with the guests? if no, you probably shouldn't home share.
It's not simply wearing mask but you need to fully understand the disease and make all appropriate precautions to prevent the spread. Masks are effective at blocking droplets from your mouth and nose but the virus has other ways to spread. It's proven that the virus can stay alive for several hours on surfaces like door handle, wall, etc so you will need to disinfect any area that's shared with the guest as frequently as possible, and also disinfect/wash your hands as frequently as possible and avoid touching your face with your hand.
@Barbara2224 If you were certain that a guest was infected with Covid19, are you confident that your home's layout would allow you to host them safely?
Wearing a mask will give you a sense of security, but unless you are in full bodysuit you will not be secure. Even kitted out hospital staff get it.
