Misleading listings' amenities - Heating (but from sun only) - Mexico

This seems to be a huge problem in Mexico, as when it is cold I like to rent apartments which have heating. I did a search for listings and filtered heating as one of the requirements, and then due to my last experience in Mexico emailed the owners of the listings. Out of 20 that I have emailed (and most of them superhosts), only one really has heating, which now I'm doubting they have. All others are saying it is warm enough in the apartment that no heating is needed, or that they have energy efficient windows or that it doesn't feel cold to them or that once the sun rises the temperature is warm. The area where I'm going had nights low in the 40s Fahrenheit which is 4-5 Celsius.

When asked if they have a portable heater, some have said they could borrow one from someone, others said they think so. This is ridiculous! One superhost has even said that "heating" means heat from the sun, and that "artificial heating is not needed".

It really is upsetting that AirBnB is not checking with the hosts that some of the basic amenities that they are listing their apartment as having is really true. I frequently as a guest fill out the review and check if there is hot water, heating, AC... Any tips on how to handle this, as I don't see a report button for listings? And really, should we be the ones policing this, the basic amenities?  Feel a bit discouraged, especially since we live with many different cultures, and what is warm for a local might not be the same for a visitor. And then there are people who are traveling with small children and the elderly who need a warm space.
