I admit that I'm quite lenient about this as long as their guests don't stay beyond the permitted visiting hours. But I always remind them not to be noisy, as most of my listings are located in residential areas. Haven’t encountered problems so far.

@Calvin157 Just say no.
Most hosts, including me, have a no extra/unregistered guests or visitors policy. I do make occasional exceptions, but overall you're better off just saying no. If they want to get together, they can do it off site. You can run into liability issues, etc. Your guests are renting your property. Their friends are not.
Thank you for the advice! I have had numerous guests asking to bring friends even lots of family members cause they live close by. I have mentioned politely that that’s why I have the policy cause the house or the furniture costs a lot and more people the more chance to get ruined or stained.( actually one guest let many other people come during their stay without letting me know at all, and ruined our dining table throwing the keys and stained it and also brought cleaners to clean their cars in my driveway witch left oil stains) I have had 2 cancellation up to now only because I don’t allow their family members or friends to come and stay
@Calvin157 we are lenient about this. Some guests ask, many do not. Where they do ask we (when we remember) just ask that guests park in the church car park so that our other guests parking is still available.
Thank you for the advice!
yes some have not asked and they have damaged my furniture and some that asked prior to hosting them have cancelled on their booking because politely have said that they cannot have extra guests or family members to come stay at the house. ( they had mentioned that they have lots of family members close to the neighborhood that wants to come hang out during the day)
