Need for Air BnB to ban guests who blatantly violate written host policy.

A guest violated pet policy and lied several times. She wrote a bad review after we addressed our concerns.   Our bookings were temporarily restricted until the "team" reviewed the concerns.

Her review was subsequently removed, but she is still allowed to book with potential to harm other hosts. There is no current policy to protect future hosts when guests blatantly violate written policy.

@Carole804 The way to warn future hosts about guest behavior is in your review of them. Hopefully you did that...

Thank you Colleen. These people were angry that they were caught leaving pets that they had not paid to add to the cottage alone, so took it out on us by writing a bad review.  Then BB temporarily suspended our ability to rent and she could continue to rent on BB.  Subsequently the guest paid and her bad review was removed. I guess our choice is to stop using companies that have no consequences for guests like that. It is a difficult decision since there are many other things we like about BB.
