Hello ,
I am new to hosting . My first few groups of guest communication was easy and instructions directions address was shared thru the app with no issues . I could see when a guest read my text .
My current guest has not read or replied to any check in info including address , so I’m assuming they did not arrive . Any advice if there is more I should be doing to ensure there are no communication issues and everything is ok ?

@Alice1974 When you send your welcome message with directions, etc., ask your guest to send a reply verifying that they have received the message. If they do not reply and you become concerned, you can reach out to AirBnB and have them contact the guest. Your message and request for a response on the App or in the message thread will validate your communication for CS.

One thing to realize the Aiebnb Platform offers every Giest the ability to turn off yhe read notification. So just because you don;t see read that might not be n otifide but read,
In this case, yes a Host wanrs to know if uou arrived. Send a message on the platform first. Please confirm you had a smoorg check in?
If still no response. I will text or call and ask fuest to lofin to platform messages available.
If aznd five rime for the Guest to respond, I would contact Airbnb that would be odd behavior but it mighr be for a valid reason
