I’m super annoyed that we were called out at midnight as a guest locked herself out. 80minute round trip in the middle of the night and we were like “these things happen, don’t worry about it.” When she messaged us at midnight saying she was locked out she said she’d pay petrol etc. We didn’t ask for this, but I did ask for a review and she hasn’t obliged. Entitled people!!!
I would suggest you should have a back up spare key at the property in a lock box that guests can access in an emergency, then you wouldn't have to come out in this situation @Sarah6888
if the guest agreed to pay for the petrol then presumably you've raised a request through Airbnb fit payment?
yes frustrating the guest hasn't left a review but some of this is on you for not having a back up system in place for when this happens.
