Not able to add Notes

I am not able to add notes at all on vacant days and if the day is blocked off I can add a note but it's not visible. Please advise. I need to add and see notes on my calendar.

To see a note on a blocked date - tap the date and the note will appear:

Well, unfortunately, Airbnb has decided that if a Host blocks a night and adds a note, then subsequently unblocks the night, they are no longer showing the note. They remove the note once you unblock the night.

Really? C'mon Airbnb! Just restore note functionality to open nights. What is the big issue with allowing Hosts to add notes to open nights?
