Hello,
Our listing is for a small cabin/house in the countryside. The cabin is aprox. 26m2. We state in our listing that the maximum number of guests including children is 2. There is only one bed and no sofabed.
We are having people sending requests to come with up to 4 guests, and when we say the house is only intented for 2 persons we are the bad people.
I just wanted to ask the community how do you handle this ?
Best regards.

Hello @Vignir-Daði0
Frustrating I grant you especially as it is clear on your listing that the max occupancy is 2!
I imagine that these requests come through as "enquiries" so all you need to do is respond as quickly as possible and your job is done. If you are receiving a lot of them, I would create a quick reply (a saved message) explaining the reasons why your cabin is only made for 2 due to its size and layout but you shouldn't be made to feel guilty because people can't read! That one reply is enough so you don't need to engage beyond that first response.
All the best
