Occupancy Requirement

Occupancy Requirement

I have just received a request for 1 more than my occupancy which is 6.   The house actually can accommodate 8.   This is the first time a guest has asked this, and I am not sure if I would be placing myself in an unwanted situation.  How would other hosts handle this?

If you can sleep eight what's your thinking in setting it for six?  @Sheryl194

can you accommodate eight in terms of dining table, sofas, bedding etc?

if you want to go ahead charge for the seventh person.

Hi again,

I was approved and got the license for 6 occupancy  by the city and thought allowing more people might put my license at risk.  I did think of just charging for the 1 person.   I have a pullout loveseat and could sleep more.   I realize I may be over thinking this whole thing.  Thanks again 🙂

@Sheryl194   If you have a license for 6 occupants, then you need to adhere to that number.
