What is a postcode?

It shows specifically where the location is. For example, code 8000 indicates a specific part of Cape Town. Smaller towns may have one code for the whole town.  I can't see in which country you are, but it may be called by another name. For example, in the US they call it a zip code.

You should be able to google your area name and "post code" or "zip code" to find it.
