Hello,
I have a use case where there is a multi unit building with one keypad on the exterior door, and then airbnbs for the units inside. I cannot currently use the airbnbn smart lock integration for both listings.
Originally my plan was to have three smart locks, one shared by both listings and one unique to each. However it's been working fine with just the exterior smart lock and conventional locks on the interior units.
Two questions:
1: Can airbnb support my current use case and have both units connect my keypad lock? Current it does not
2: Can airbnb support my end-game plan where the two units can each have multiple keypads (with one shared). The same code would need to work for both, or it wouldn't be worth the added complexity for guests.
Hi @Nathan4412 👋
Thanks so much for your question. I think we've had a few of these questions in the past:
🔒 Multiple Smart Lock Integration
Do either of these threads help with your questions?
Well, I suppose I can infer from these posts that the answer is no.
But I already know currently airbnb cannot do #1.
This is a feature request. And it's a pretty important one for me without this functionality I won't be using airbnb for the keypads.
