One small change that improved my bookings (and reduced guest issues)

After hosting for years, I’ve learned that small adjustments often make the biggest difference.

One thing that helped me a lot was rewriting my house rules in a friendly, clear way instead of sounding strict.

Guests understood expectations better, and I noticed fewer complaints and misunderstandings.

Curious to know, what’s one small change you’ve made that actually worked better than expected?

Hi @Mafus0

Looking at your profile it lists you a a guest with not current or previous experience as a host.

which listings are you referring to to that you've been 'hosting for many years'??

Hi @Helen3, thanks for pointing that out.

My profile currently shows me as a guest because I’m not actively hosting a listing at the moment. However, I’ve hosted on Airbnb in the past for several years across different properties, and my post was based on that hands-on experience.

I shared it simply to contribute something that helped me during my hosting time, not to mislead anyone. I appreciate the chance to clarify.
