Can someone explain why the payments are taking longer to be sent through.
It used to be that the payment was received the day after check in. I had guests in on the weekend and received an email on the 30th to say the payment will be processed by the 4th of October, this means Air bnb are holding onto my money for longer, I figure if they are doing that with all Host, how much interest is involved in the millions that must be processed particularly after weekend stays.
I see that @Till-and-Jutta0 provided a helpful link explaining the different payment methods. Were you able to determine whether it was the method or an actual delay?
I'm still awaiting Airbnb to pay me outstanding monies owed to me from and for over a year now because of there Topsy Turkey processes and failures to comply with NZ Jurisdictions, and there own Policies.
