Are you using the app or the website? Sometimes if you are having an issue on the app, the website may be able to do it (there is full functionality on the website). If you are using the app, you can log out and log back in again. Try to turn off your phone and back on again. Sometimes you may need to delete the app and reinstall it.
Sometimes it does not allow you to do a custom promotion on certain days, then select another date set and try. If you already have a custom promotion to change the pricing you need to remove the promotion then redo the promotion. I have had some issue sometimes doing a custom promotion on a date and it doesn’t make sense, and AirBnb customer service didn’t help so I manually went to the price and turned off smart pricing and manually typed in the price for the date I wanted. Yes it won’t show that it is a special promotion or be promoted but it allows the calculation of the price for the range guests may look for. That is the work around I found out for this issue.
