Pulling my property from AirB&B

We checked a guest out 6 days after his stay and didn't return to the property for another 3 weeks. When we did, full corner-to-corner flea infestation. This resulted in $4.5k worth of hard costs and canceled stays and endless amounts of headaches. AirB&B is offering no support for this since it's outside the 14-day window, although fleas can lay dormant for weeks. AirB&B does not support hosts and I no longer feel comfortable with having strangers in my house now that the facade of "AirCover" has fallen. Save yourself before you find out the hard way, hosts.

@Amy2142 We often find guests leave windows open, lights on etc. To not check a property for 3 weeks is almost guaranteed to cause trouble. I really don't think you can blame Airbnb for this one.

I was at the property after check out...twice within the first week of check out. Then left and didn't return for 3 weeks. In that time, the eggs apparently hatched. And I had already checked the guest out.
