Questions about booking an entire home for those under 25

I am under 25 and would like to book an entire home. If the host asks for ID before completing the reservation, will there be any legal issues? I am wondering if it is completely forbidden for someone under 25 to book an entire home or if the host completes our reservation, will we be able to do so?

It is not illegal for someone under 25yrs old to book an entire home. Whether the Host will permit someone to book at a certain age depends on their specific rules and if any local Homeowners' Associations require a specific age or not. Some Hosts do have a minimum age requirement and require photo ID either before or after the booking, or at check-in.

Sometimes Airbnb will flag a reservation as a "party risk" and prevent the reservation from being completed, or cancel the reservation as a party risk. The only way to know is to read the House Rules and message the Host about reserving the home. They likely will have some questions for you, especially if it is a large group. Most Hosts don't allow parties at their homes.

Hello @YeJun4

Great advice from @Joan2709 already but if you want to increase your chances of a host accepting your booking, I would fill in your profile details so that a host can get a clearer picture of who you are.  You only have 1 review so some hosts may feel that the risk is too great.

I recommend sending them a nice message explaining what is bringing you to the town and some information on your group. Make sure you read their house rules and treat their home with respect and all will be well😊

It tends to be mainly in the US that some hosts are reluctant to take under 25's . In Europe we are more flexible and take over 18s . @YeJun4
