I recently booked a listing on Airbnb app and the host didn’t respond so I get an email that I will get a refund in 3 days I wait for 5 days no refund in my account. I report the issue to the Airbnb support chat then receive a call from
** I complain about my issue
they tell me that they have escalated the issue to their technical team. They get back to me with payment reference numbers saying it’s been pocessed I call my bank with all the necessary proof. My bank does an investigation and tell me there hasn’t been any refund in my account. I call back to complain again I see on my Airbnb app that case has been closed
can anyone please help?

@Afriyie1 when this happened to me it was my bank that was at fait. due to currency conversions the refund didn't exactly match the payment so it went into an abyss. I would call your bank again if I were you.

Hi Emilie, I wasn’t given any feedback on what exactly caused the delay, But Thanks to Airbnb the matter was resolved and I received my refund
