I’m sorry about your experience. It seems it is difficult to find the legal department’s info - you may be able to search the community boards for a mention of it… there was a thread a very long time ago mentioning this. You could try to call Airbnb customer service and if that doesn’t help, you can message them on their official X or FB account asking for support in this case.
I am aware that there is a circumstance that may qualify where a host can deny someone with a service animal - it is if the listing is at a host occupied home. There were several threads about this topic as well and unfortunately some heated threads for both sides too. I hope that you have find a resolution that you are satisfied with.
