Remove ink from LVT floor

Remove ink from LVT floor

Advice please. We had children in our listing and today my cleaner was met by purple ink all over the living room floor.

She tried all her usual products, but it’s not shifting.

Any tips on how to remove?

Thank you

@Des1919

Toothpaste and baking soda might work. The ink has probably been absorbed by whatever floor polish was on there and it might have to be stripped.

@Des1919  Try undiluted rubbing alcohol.

Or a Mr. Clean Magic Eraser.

To remove children or ink? The first one is easier ... 🙂

Google says:

Apply rubbing alcohol, hairspray, or hand sanitizer to dilute the stain, making it easier to remove during the wash. These solvents help tackle most types of ink stains

I thought hair spray used to do the trick

@Des1919 I would contact the manufacturer. Many LVT floors can be badly damaged if the wrong cleaning products are used.
