Renting over a month

I was under the understanding if I rented month to month that my costs would be refunded when the month was up (as the renter insurance changes or something).  I've left and it has been well over a month.  When could I expect to see any reimbursement?

@Nicholas843 Can you be clearer on your expectations. Are you a host or a guest? What costs are you talking about? Why would you think you would  be refunded?
