Retaliatory review

Hi everyone,

I’m heading towards arbitration and would appreciate your opinion on whether the last review on my profile is retaliatory.
I’ve been a digital nomad for nearly 4 years, and while I’ve had retaliatory reviews removed before, Airbnb Support claims this one doesn’t violate their policy.

Here’s the situation: I reported a major ant infestation. The host left a review stating my “goal was to stay and ask for a refund” and that I “created problems to ask for a refund.” This is despite the fact that Airbnb validated my complaint and issued me a 30% refund.

The review doesn’t just mention my complaint; it directly accuses me of fraud. This feels like a textbook case of retaliation for a successful refund claim. Had the refund not been mentioned, it would be a simple negative opinion, but the host explicitly linked it to punishment.

Is Airbnb wrong here, or am I missing something?

Thanks for the feedback.
