@Rodney-And-Esme0 Airbnb bookings cannot be sold - only the property can be sold I am afraid.
You have a few options - Some of which are against the rules!!!
1) New owner sets up their listing and blocks the dates where you have bookings. You block all the dates where you don't have bookings. As people come to the property post sale you transfer their payments to the new owner.
2) New owner sets up their listing as above. You change the banking details to the new owners so that they get the payments once the property has been sold
3) cancel all existing guests and direct them to the new owners listing to allow them to re book
I agree that the Airbnb ethos is that bookings are with the host not the property BUT in these situations it would make so much more sense to allow an account transfer and then just send the currently booked guests a message saying ' The host has changed - you may keep your booking with the new host or cancel for a full refund'
The fact that Airbnb allows Cottages.com and other large commercial operators to advertise on the Airbnb sit means Airbnb are already ignoring their ethos but I guess money talks!
