The guest requested to book for two weeks, but was asking if she could book weekly (money was tight). So I sent a special price (since she didn’t seem to know how to do it, or else she would have originally booked one week). While doing that I put 65$ ( thinking it was asking night rate, but instead it was asking for total $455) . Point being is that she got 7 days for 65$ total. And she accepted.
After she accepted I realized the mistake. I sent a message to her, letting her know I need to fix it, she didn’t respond back. I sent the new request and she declined. And said why I was charging more? I explained the night price vs the week price, and I offered to lower the price to 56$ a night for her first week. She hasn’t responded. So I haven’t sent new request price.
Im now worried that we are starting on the wrong foot, and this may reflect negatively on her reviews towards our Airbnb.
Plus I’m getting paid for one night, instead of seven. I understand it was my mistake, but is it ok for her to not accept the correct price? Can I cancel/should I cancel? She is to arrive in three days, and she booked yesterday.
what do k do in this situation if she doesn’t respond back to me.
Thank you.

I'm not sure why you needed to send her a special offer. @Adriana-P3
If the guest can't afford to book for two weeks I wouldn't have accepted the booking or just accepted a booking request for one week and said if the second week is available when she is in position to pay you would be happy to accept a booking for the second week.
So what to do now. Message the guest back and ask why she has declined your request for the fee to cover her one week stay. Make it clear she cannot check in and stay for a week for the price of one night.
In your shoes I would contact Airbnb and explain your mistake and ask them to cancel the booking penalty free it the guest continues to refuse the booking amendment @Adriana-P3
Adriana-P3 Call Airbnb and cancel the booking . Your guest is taking advantage . All the guest had to do was book for a week but if they book week by week they will pay double fees. Do not send this type of guest a discount. You may be charged a cancellation fee by Airbnb bu t try to explain why this happened . isuggest that you do not want to give this guest another week and you are at risk of not being paid and the guest continuing to stay . Point out that the cancellation will happen because they have not replied and do it quickly or your door codes address etcetera will become available. Keep all you messaging onthe airbnb app. simply say that a cancellation will happen because they have not answered messages and then do it .Do not refund anything out of your own pocket as the automated system will take care of it .H

That a tricky one I guess you have to cancel the booking and absorb the cancellation fee,
She can hold you to the agreement,
It comes down the lesser of two evils,
Letting her stay you are paying for everything,
Cancel the booking what is it $100?
I think I would pay the $100
Would your calendar still be blocked?
Call customer service and ask them to help. I find they are very good if you ask nicely, explaining how the problem occurred.

Everyone thank you for your input. I called Airbnb (thanks for the suggestion) and they contacted the guest (not sure what happened on that end) but the conclusion was that it would be canceled without penalty because guest decided to cancel as well. Thank you all for your insight/guidance.
