Setting limited booking slots with calendar

I set up a listing for my own apartment which I only want to let out when I am away on vacation, so initially just for two weeks in June. However I just can't get the AB&B calendar to play ball. It seems I can either block out the entire year as unbookable or every single day of the year is available to book. The telephone support simply took me in circles and they guy I spoke to couldn't understand basic questions. The online help I've looked into doesn't work either so I have had to deactivate my listing. If anyone knows how to fix the problem I'd be most grateful.

@Niall76 You have to set the availability in your calendar to 'unavailable by default'. Then highlight the fortnight you want to make available and click available. If you are only making the odd week available this is the simplest and safest way to do it.

Hi and many thanks for your response. That's exactly what I tried to begin with. All dates in my calendar were blocked out, I then highlighted the dates I wanted to make available, but there's no option to change anything that I can see.

@Niall76 There was a point last week when this capability went AWOL. Have you tried it recently?
