Could Airbnb provide the option for a host to designate a date (booking) range outside of their general booking window for a specific guest?
As it stands, if one tries to do this, the system wants to reset the booking window. It would nonetheless be handy to be able to offer particular guests the certainty of a future reservation, e.g., current guests who wish to return later.
This would just involve the ability to override on a host chosen basis, the availability of dates outside the booking window.

Yes...you can do this by blocking dates outside the availability window for a specific guest, but you can only block dates outside of your availability window by turning on Professional Hosting Tools and using the multicalendar to do that. The multicalendar is only available on desktop; not the App:

Hi @Cara56
You can block the dates as @Joan2709 has explained, which answers your question. You'll have to unblock them if this specific guest wants to book the dates through Airbnb later.
If you're on Instant Book, an easy way to manage this would be to accept requests beyond the window, but not bookings. The option is available in the Availability Window settings.
Then (if your repeat guest books through Airbnb), they can request those dates at any time. If other guests ask for dates around that time, you can consider before accepting.
There's a potential downside: if you think many guests may ask for far-out bookings that you don't want to do, you could end up declining too much.
Thanks. I forgot about that. I do allow requests outside of the booking window. I will see if I can make it work, although I do not have instant booking set on.
It maybe that the interface presented to the interested guest is a little confusing, i.e., she seemed to think she was unable to do anything, in the face of the blocked out period she wanted to book in.
I did ping her, to suggest that she give it a (fresh) try, so we shall see what happens.
Thanks again.
