Simple Recomendations to Contribute Positively to Climate Change

Electric power.

It is very common that in spaces where we have air conditioning, some guests leave the space and do not turn off the air AC, leaving it to work for hours, without anyone taking advantage of it.

It is important to point out that you are trying to help the Planet and leave a note to remind them.

"We want to make this

Space, a place of zero emissions

and what to contribute to the well-being of the Planet!

Turn off the air conditioning

Before leaving the room "

It is important that you check your bulbs. And make sure they are all energy saving, you can find them in white light and warm light. You will help the planet and your operating costs.

Water

You can put saving water outlets that are very easy to get in any department store and adapt the water outlets of your space.

And ask your guests to notify you if they find a water leak, so that it can be repaired instantly.

"We want to make this

Space, a place of zero emissions

and contribute to the well-being of the Planet!

Please report to your host, any

Leak.

Garbage Waste

Recycle

The use of towels and sheets in an airbnb space is too constant, so by not changing the sheets daily, it contributes significantly to the cost of drinking water on the planet.

"We want to make this

Space, a place of zero emissions

And contribute to the well-being of the Planet!

Please notify your host if you require any

Extra laundry service ”.

Reduce

Crushing plastic pet bottles and cardboard containers significantly reduces the space in garbage containers.

"We want to make this

Space, a place of zero emissions

And contribute to the well-being of the Planet!

Please compress your plastics and

cardboard containers before throwing them away. "

We know that it is not an easy task, but our small contribution and that of our guests will make a change.

This is a good idea. I remind my guests to be energy efficient and to recycle etc during my check in tour. However, this is just verbal and can easily be forgotten.

Even 5* hotels now often leave little notes asking guests to save water, e.g. telling them where to put towels if they want them replaced. That means housekeeping doesn't have to automatically replace every towel every day.

I think it's not a bad idea to leave little signs for guests if it's done in an attractive way, explaining how it helps to protect the planet (like you have done), rather than like a set of strict rules/instructions.
