Does anyone have any advice on what to do if I sell my property but still have rentals pending?

Hi dear Hosts,
I am wondering if someone had a similar case: a guest/ a man checked in, after two hours my bathroom was fool sprayed with blood. I was even not normal, there were blood speckless on a wall, trash can and the floor. I cleaned before he came and was upset that I needed to clean again. I thought something bad happened to him, but no, he went to the party and after he came back we talked, he never complained and I didn't wanted to make him feel uncomfortable, he also mentioned that he likes my place. He looked absolutely fine. Next morning I got a shock, more blood all over, this time it was even on the toilet, in the toilet, walls, floor, bathtub and trash can again, I have never seen anything like that! And it was already dark, because dried. Me and my other guest were terrified. It took me again 1h to clean the restroom. Id this some sort of prank guests do at the moment to hosts? Did someone encountered anything like that?
Should I report it to airbnb?
I looked up my vaccine history, I have a vaccine for hep and bcg. I used to travel a lot for work to third worlds, I believe I have every possible vaccine you can get. Airbnb cannot do anything. basically their response is, invite a special cleaning service, but no one will pay for it. As usual response. No one cares.
@Elisabeth40 first thing that comes to my mind is - he is a junky and gets a fix in your bathroom.
No way I would clean it and stay silent the first time when I would see it! He and his stuff would be out in a second. Jesus! 😮
@Branka-and-Silvia0 That was actually my thought, too. He may be shooting up- either drugs or he's a diabetic.
I didn't know that can look so messy, but actually this is what I think too. I have all vaccines, some people work in hospitals and help others, nothing happens to them. Nothing will happen to me either. I just wish I would never experience this and I don't know how to prevent it, could I have prevented it? I must be honest with you, he looked to me not like he would do this type of stuff. He was not sounding off or like on drugs. I also don't have experience with this type of things. That's just scary.
@Sarah977 I would say junky, they shoot themselves in the vein. Diabetics don't, their shot goes on the back of the arm, in the stomach, upper leg, or buttocks.
@Elisabeth40 I don't hang out with drug addicts myself, but there's a commonly held misconception is that all junkies are low lifes nodding out in doorways in garbage-strewn alleys.
If a heroin addict has money and can afford to eat well, take vitamins and keep themselves fit, they can be heroin addicts for years and years and you'd never know it. They may be well-dressed and hold a good job.
It isn't the same kind of drug like meth, that makes people look and go crazy.
Or someone could be shoooting up steroids or who knows what else.
@Elisabeth40 Another possibility is this guest may have problems from a broken nose in the past, unfortunately they can and do happen in all manner of ways, and have polyps which can and do cause a mess if they burst. They are most unpleasant to live with the consequences of even when they have been cauterized.
Anyone who has had issues with clotting of blood for whatever reason who has had histories of blood noses can tell you they to are really annoying and can cause blood splatters.
When one has serious blood noses it is difficult to try clean up the mess at the time because of the persistent bleeding.
They may have had surgery where they had tubes inserted into the nostrils which can and does cause long term damage to one's nostrils and nasal system and bleeding of the nasal passages is a known long term side effect.
Perhaps the guest has an eyesight issue as well which is also a private health matter and may not realise their are splatters that haven't been cleaned up.
If they haven't made an effort to clean the blood up that is a serious issue.
The only ways you may find out more about this guest is if you know their full name, and where they are from perhaps use the internet and look up their history.
Best we all not judge , alas most unfortunate for all all around.
There can be dozens of reasons why he bleeds, but there is no excuse of not cleaning after himself.
@Branka-and-Silvia0 I was so fast that I made a mistake 😄
it is no excuse FOR not cleaning, not OF lol

Now I’m wondering what the bedroom is going to look like when he leaves…
@Elisabeth40 This sounds familiar...my father was an asthmatic and also suffered from constant nose bleeds. He used to make a huffing sound and would spray blood droplets all over the bathroom. It was so persistent that he ignored cleaning up as his wife would clean up after him. If this guest is still with you, hand him some gloves, disinfectant and a roll of paper towels as well as dog type disposal bags and let him know that he is responsible for cleaning up after himself as this is a shared accommodation. Be prepared to find similar issues with the bedroom -- hazmat! Honestly, the fact that there are guests who disrespect shared areas or who do not request assistance in the event of an "accident" further reinforces my never wanting to share my personal home. My housekeeper and I have 15 plus years of experience with OMG guests at our whole house properties; this one wins hands down.
As to your review, I would be sure to mention that this guest had a great deal of difficulty keeping the shared areas clean and sanitary, and that other guests were uncomfortable (or disgusted) with his behavior/habits.
Well, I’m not a nurse and not a specialist in special hazard cleaning I have all vaccines but my second guest who saw it first because he woke up before me, started being hysterical and said: “what if this is tuberculosis”. My second guest was scared. You know, I don’t need a SORRY, but it would be nice to know what it is. At least for my other guest. Now if I ask this man what he had, I would sound off and probably receive a panic review from him, but I am also holding up a responsibility towards my second guest, and have to hold his review, the second guest was pretty upset. You know at the hospital at least you know what you signed up for when a nurse encounters a lot of blood, she signed up for this. And at least she would have an idea what it is. I don’t
Frankly, I don’t understand why your second guest is still there. I would have been gone after the first episode.
The first time I wouldn’t blame the host but I would still want to leave.
Fortunately TB is no longer common in NY but it’s not unheard of either. I have been places where it is still active and I understand that lung hemorrhages can range from a few specks of blood to a real gusher.
When you see someone in a public place spewing blood you get out of the way.
I really wish CS had politely reminded this person that you are not running a hospital or a sanitarium and that if he has a medical problem he needs to leave immediately.
It sounds to me like you think this guest is still here. No, both of the guests are already gone, their time here to stay past. I’m talking to you not in real time, this is past already couple days. Now reading your messages I started thinking that it would be great if Airbnb would offer someone to talk to, Airbnb doesn’t has this service for hosts. I simple think I’m here to share so I can compensate this traumatic experience, because Airbnb didn’t offered it to me. Their service people just throw out the most polite responses which can suit any problem. Thanks to everyone and this is closed here now. Pls don’t text more. I’m here for everyone who needs to talk after your traumatic experiences, you can always pm me. Again thank you, I need to stop here to respond. Pls feel free to share with me and cry if you need too.
