I'm after some help and advise as the support centre are not answering my issue.
We've recently experienced an issue where a 3rd party software management company that we used to manage this air bnb (it's our only property on Air bnb) and other rental properties had created a total block on the availability calendar - nothing was able to be booked until 2027!
We disconnected the software and have gone back to manual, and immediately have received booking. However, these new bookings are on the elevated 15% host only fee, despite my settings showing that we are on the split fee. I've asked support to help with this and they keep telling me (3 days of telling me this now!) that the fee is based on the booking value. Everything online and on Air bnb forums suggests this is wrong.
Has anyone had similar issues? Does anyone have any advise on how to get an agent to resolve it for me? Its really frustrating that they keep giving me the same answer, especially when it contradicts their own website. The first booking it effects is in 3 days and I'm really keen to make sure this is sorted before they come as I know i won't get the difference in value after the stay is complete.
