Airbnb is a joke. A host from Taiwan name Teddy is pure rude and forced me to cancel my accommodation with trip being 14 days away. Airbnb indicate that guest is the one who cancelled and refused to make amendments to this. This is unfair to consumers yet Airbnb refuses to do anything. Such hosts should not even exist in Airbnb to being a host in the first place. Why is Airbnb accepting such rude and u reasonable person?!

How did the host 'force you' to cancel a booking. If the host wanted to cancel the booking then they should have cancelled it. @Chen727 ?

What made you cancel the booking on the hosts behalf?

If you chose to cancel the booking, then indeed Airbnb will see it as a guest cancellation.
