The bad report from Paul * daughter Raegan

Paul did not even stay here.  It was his 20 year old daughter that stayed here.  When she came, with her mother she took out furniture that she said was going to be in her way and rolled up all the curtains to make herself comfortable.  She was suppose to be here from Jun 1 thru Aug 17, 2025, but I really don't know where she got all this bites in her legs and right away she imagined there were bed bugs in the bed, which was not true. I didn't see any bugs. I even got the Terminex  exterminator to come check it out and he didn't find any bugs.  And the place was clean when she arrived as I always clean it out so I don't know why she complained  about dirty kitchen.  It was all a false  report.

Paul wasn't here so he just listen to his daughter and got her all nervous telling her there were bed bugs on the mattress.

I already treated the place for fleas,  which I think they could have come from next door where they have two or three dogs.

Maybe that's what bit her outside.  Mosquitoes are bad outside, so I never sit outside without a  protection from mosquitoes.  But I haven't had any trouble in my house with fleas and I have a small dog and he doesn't have any fleas.

Personally I never accept third party bookings @Maria600 as I like the person who is staying to review my listings before they book and I want to be covered by Airbnb Cover.

if someone claims there are bed bugs I would say I'm happy to call out pest control but if they are 'mistaken ' they will need to pay the pest control fees.

you could ask Airbnb to remove The review as The father didn't stay at the listing .

@Maria600

If you accept a third party reservation you are agreeing to a third party review automatically.

The Guest complains about fleas and pictures of bugs on mattress.  Your response says bed bugs the Guest's review doesn't name what bug.  Could be fleas?

Your response actually more issue two guests complain about fleas so there was a flea issue.  Regardless of how infested you wouldn't want to pay someone so fleas can bite you.
