@Daniel15448 in our listings we made it very clear that spiders, bugs, and other insects were all harmless but likely to be in residence. Its a small thing but protection against silly claims.

In your case I would send Airbnb a notice that you intend to take them to the small claims court if they do not reinstate your payout for this stay.

Thank you the only problem with this situation is the person who created the listing is not the owner and has ownership of all the reviews as well has superhost status through our listings air bnbs policy is we would loose all of our reviews start over with a new name loose the algorithm placement we would have to rebuild what took over 3 years to build were in a pickel its kind of being blackmailed airbnb is at fault for refunding the guests full refund but it was also the guy who started the glamping sites too he was told to deny the refund but went ahead and did it anyways with the recommendation  for full refund to keep superhost status so thats how it happened its an awful situation we have no control of what happens I bust my too shy go out of my way to make sure our guests have the ultimate experience at the ranch but I will never be able to get superhost recognition unless we start over thats the only way to gain control so situations like the spider dont happen again airbnb cant help us with transferring reviews  so sol

@Daniel15448 I would say it was unethical of your property manager to list themselves as host instead of co-host.

@Daniel15448 Wow! What a great way to get a free vacation. I assume they got a photo of the offending creature as proof. I totally agree with @Mike-And-Jane0 . List every possible insect that might make it into the tent for your own protection. Frankly, I can't believe there are people out there that would stoop so low. I'm sorry that happened to you.
