Throwing cigarettes butt all over the property

The guests Smoking and throwing cigarettes butt on our common areas, garden, driveway, ect…. 

Not only to ask them not to smoke in or around the common area, such as gardens, driveway, in front of carport on our property, but should I ask them to pick up after themselves and place them in the outdoor rubbish bin? 

I have already ask them not to smoke on this property when they arrived. 

Would appreciate a tactful way of dealing with inconsiderate guests.

Perhaps provide them convenient places (aka ashtrays) to throw the butts, if they are going to smoke anyway why not go along with the flow.

The convenient place is to put it in the outdoor council bin, as there are children on this property and putting an ashtray it sends a wrong signal implying smoking is acceptable in this household.

@Helen2987 even though you ban smoking inside and out ,a discreet out of the way set of ashtrays is an insurance policy . People who feel compelled to smoke will most likely choose outside which is then a bonus and those who smoke and dont care,what your rules are ,will attempt to use the ashtrays as they would at a pub or in a beer garden , its always a hazard... H

Thank you for your suggestion. 
This guest would not go and sit where I had directed him to go.   He has one last cigar walking up on the driveway and drops the butt and puts it off  with his foot before walking into the house. Totally unacceptable habit.

@Helen2987 Maybe pop something in the review then Helen about guests not following the non smoking rules,and apply to Airbnbs insurance if the home is smoke filled or impregnated. Its probably a good idea to send the guest a private message about the smoking and remind them of the rules... H
