Today, Air took a booking for a date that was already booked. How can this happen?

Today, I had a booking request for a date that was already booked by another Air member. How did this happen?

?? 😱 You say they were both Airbnb bookings @Gillian32 , so not booked through different platforms?

I see you have only one listing, so it's not an issue of linking internal calendars either ....

Did the two bookings come through almost at the same time?

Hi @Gillian32 

If your listing is set to Request to Book, guests can request dates even if they are not available, especially if you’ve recently made changes and the system didn’t update correctly.  Sometimes, Airbnb shows brief availability due to a temporary glitch.

Contact Airbnb Support to report it and have them log the issue.
