Her booking communication claims two small dogs. In reality, she has four dogs, including a large pitbull. These dogs bark incessantly throughout the day, are not house-trained, and cause significant property damage. She does not clean up after them until the day of departure, leaving behind extensive messes and odors. This constitutes a clear violation of pet policies.

Property Damage and Theft:

You should expect the theft of household items, as she has been documented stealing towels, linens, and small electronics. Additionally, her presence results in abnormally high utility bills, likely due to constant heating or cooling and prolonged use of appliances.

Illegal Activity and Substance Abuse:

She has been observed under the influence of illegal drugs during her stay. Drug paraphernalia was found on the premises. She smokes inside the unit in direct violation of no-smoking policies. Frequent nighttime visitors arrive and leave at irregular hours, creating a security concern. The unit required professional-level sanitization due to the presence of drug-related waste and general filth.

False Claims and Harassment:

She files false complaints about unsanitary conditions in the unit in an attempt to secure refunds or waive cleaning fees. These claims are fabricated and are part of her pattern of manipulation.

Recommendation:

We strongly recommend that you do not accept any booking request from this individual. If you have an existing booking, take immediate steps to enforce all house rules, require a security deposit, and consider canceling the reservation according to Airbnb's policies. Document all communications and interactions diligently.

Hi @Mac1218 - this community is international and I can't see any details of where you're located (your profile only shows "guest"). The information may be useful if reported to the relevant local host club? 

You're doing the right thing by not mentioning any personal details.

General advice here in the Community Center is to stick to your rate (avoid requests for discount), and don't move the booking off platform. As you don't seem to have a host account, I think this may have been a direct booking from the start?

We do not want this tied directly to our listings and want to leave this in the past but want to protect our fellow hosts in the same area of Coeur d'Alene Idaho.
