What is the recourse?

I confirmed with the guest, who was verified with Airbnb, that there was a no-party policy.

But there was a party, a bunch of underage kids, lots of drugs and alcohol, the police were called, they called me, the house is destroyed.  Now what?

I cannot get Airbnb to give me the verification info for the guest that the police are asking for.  Please help?

Did you report the issues to Airbnb, including claim for damage ?

Airbnb probably won't provide you with any identity information, but the police may demand it from Airbnb or otherwise obtain the guests identity if a report has been filed with the police ?

do you have CCTV or did the neighbours alert you? 

How did you find the property when you went down there when the police called ? 

I would imagine that Airbnb will respond to direct requests from the police. But the police understandably often want the host to chase Airbnb who can be difficult. Have you shared the crime number with them ? 

I am so sad to hear your house has been destroyed... in your situation I wouldn't bother with Air Cover which has so many exclusions but would notify your STR home insurance company. They will likely send a loss adjuster out and will need the police report and any supporting video/photo evidence you have collected .

I'm just a neighbor but I have this happen quite often.  After the issue this weekend AIR BNB did provide me a link for kodex global.  They state the police can use that to get data.  I have never had this offered before and have not used it.  But I would for it by name and see what they say.  

It is a subpoena software app.  It will not let me upload the screen shot, sorry.  But I would still ask them for the link for your case.
