I loved scrolling through the filters for certain types of homes. I loved to look to see where and what kind of place I wanted to stay next!! There were so many beautiful and quirky and unique, once in a lifetime places to stay and now it is difficult to see those places. Please bring back this filter!

Yes, Please! As a host of a very Unique home, I so miss my prospective guests being able to do an efficient search. Thank you!
I totally agree! We have a geodesic dome that really benefited from being listed as a "unique property" and more specifically as a dome. Crazy for Airbnb to push Categories and then completely strip them away, and not even inform hosts about the ways this change could affect them. For one thing, if a guest is searching and applying Filters, and they check ANY of the available "property type" filters, such as House or Apartment, our dome no longer shows up as an option in their search! This is huge. A tiny shack with no bathroom or kitchen will show up because it qualifies as a "house" (true story), but our popular dome with full kitchen, luxe bathroom, and private hot tub will not. A customer service rep asked if I had tried just changing to "house." Um, NO! You can't change to house designation if you select Unique Property" first. So much for getting an algorithm boost by being a unique property...
I honestly stopped using air bnb, because they got rid of that feature. Sorry y'all are dealing with that. Staying in interesting places was the only reason to opt for air bnb over a hotel.
